Once every ten years, the world horticultural exhibition Floriade takes place. For the 2022 edition, MFX Engineering was invited to contribute to a unique project: the development of the skeleton and head of a moving figure, controlled by an industrial robot.
In collaboration with Event Robotics, we managed the complete technical execution — from concept and engineering to on-site installation. The robot enabled movement of the waist, arm, and neck, while we integrated motors in the head that allowed the eyes to blink and rotate.
