Red Bull Sattelfest is a thrilling competition where participants attempt to cross the water on their own unique and often wild bicycle creations. This year’s edition took place in Düsseldorf, where we engineered and installed the full track structure directly on the water using custom-built supports to ensure a perfectly straight and stable course.
To transport participants and crew from the quay to both the start and finish areas, we designed and constructed four bridges — each over 30 meters long. Given the limited working space on site, the setup presented a major logistical challenge. Using a 250-ton crane alongside two 160-ton cranes, we successfully lifted and positioned all elements with precision and safety.
The result: a spectacular setup that brought the Red Bull Sattelfest energy to life on the water.
